In March 2017, Tippy Irwin was invited by County of San Mateo, Aging and Adult Services Director, Lisa Mancini to attend their staff meeting where she was pleasantly surprised to be honored “for her outstanding dedication to the welfare of elder and dependent adults”. Chris Rodrigues and Craig McCulloh spoke words of praise and of their respect for Tippy. She was deeply touched and greatly appreciates the plaque presented to her, which is now prominently displayed on her desk.
